Sant Gervasi-Galvany
North of Avinguda Diagonal, and during the daytime a little bit quieter — residential and very green, but dotted with many small boutique shops: artisan jewellery, clothing, beachwear, shoes. So it's a great space to do a little boutique shopping, and it's not too exclusive, so the prices are in a decent range. There are stylish cocktail and cava bars, and by day a large red-brick market, Mercat del Galvany — a local alternative to the more central, touristy Sant Josep market. The area also hosts a few popular concert and nightclubs.
