01

Lock the trip in

This covers finding your accommodation and a vetted list of what to do while you're here.

You've locked it in - that's the hard part done. Here's what happens next:

  • Invite your friends, and once they lock in too, we're rolling.
  • I get your stay sorted, picked for what your group actually needs.
  • You sort your own flights, whenever works for you.
  • Then your itinerary lands - ready whenever you want it.

Barcelona neighbourhoods

These aren't the first names in a guidebook. Sant Gervasi-Galvany is where I stayed most recently - tranquil, local, full of small boutique shops, with nightlife close enough to walk home from. Sant Antoni and El Poblenou are for when you want where the locals (and the in-the-know visitors) actually go, not the most obvious pick.

These are our top three favourite neighbourhoods — and why. You can pick one of these or we can agree on an area that works better for you (city centre, old town) and find a suitable accommodation there.

Favourite 01

Sant Gervasi-Galvany

North of Avinguda Diagonal, and during the daytime a little bit quieter — residential and very green, but dotted with many small boutique shops: artisan jewellery, clothing, beachwear, shoes. So it's a great space to do a little boutique shopping, and it's not too exclusive, so the prices are in a decent range. There are stylish cocktail and cava bars, and by day a large red-brick market, Mercat del Galvany — a local alternative to the more central, touristy Sant Josep market. The area also hosts a few popular concert and nightclubs.
